College Fed Challenge

Competition Update

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is no longer directly sponsoring the College Fed Challenge. A consortium of local colleges have continued the tradition, with University of Illinois Center for Economic Education picking up the role as lead coordinator. The newly organized College Fed Challenge was held here at the Chicago Fed on November 6, 2009. Nineteen local universities competed, with Northwestern University coming out on top. Our vice president and economic advisor from our financial studies team, Doug Evanoff, was one of the final round judges.
