Midwest Infrastructure Project
Mission Statement
The Research Department gathered and conducted research to inform Midwest decision-makers on those regional policies that are critical to successful economic performance. In particular, we focused on surface transportation infrastructure serving North American trade; energy infrastructure and policy — especially electricity, gasoline and natural gas; public infrastructure and its finance; redevelopment and revival of central cities; and work force resources and challenges.
