Midwest Farmland Values Still Soaring in First Quarter
According to the most recent AgLetter, Seventh District farmland values in the first quarter of 2012 were 19 percent higher than a year ago. The value of “good” agricultural land in the first quarter of 2012 was 5 percent higher than in the fourth quarter of 2011.
