Adam S. Posen is president of the Peterson Institute for International Economics. Under his leadership, since January 2013, the Institute has grown to 42 world-renowned fellows and won global recognition – including being named North American Economics Think Tank of the Year by Prospect three years in a row (2016, 2017, and 2018). The author, co-author, or editor of eight books, Posen has contributed to research and public policy in the areas of G20 monetary and fiscal policies, European economic integration since the euro, Japan’s recovery from its Great Recession, and China-US economic relations. From 2009 to 2012, Posen served as an external voting member of the Bank of England's rate-setting Monetary Policy Committee, where he was a leading voice globally for active policy response to the financial crisis. Posen served seven terms on the Panel of Economic Advisers to the US Congressional Budget Office (2005-19), and co-authored Inflation Targeting with Bernanke, Laubach, and Mishkin while at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (1994-97). He received his BA and PhD from Harvard University.
Lars Svensson

Professor Lars E.O. Svensson has been an affiliated professor at the Stockholm School of Economics since May 2013. He was Duisenberg Fellow at the European Central Bank between September and November 2016; a resident scholar at the International Monetary Fund from January 2015 to March 2016; deputy governor of the Sveriges Riksbank from May 2007 to May 2013; professor of economics at Princeton University from 2001 to 2009; and professor of international economics at Stockholm University from 1984 to 2003. Professor Svensson has done extensive research on macroprudential policy, monetary economics and monetary policy, exchange-rate theory and policy, and general international macroeconomics. Professor Svensson received his PhD in economics from Stockholm University.
Sharon Kozicki

Sharon Kozicki is an advisor to the governor of the Bank of Canada. In this role, she is focused on the Canadian economy and monetary policy. Dr. Kozicki also serves as secretary to the Governing Council, the Bank of Canada’s policymaking body. She led the Bank of Canada’s research on the monetary policy framework in the lead-up to the 2016 renewal of the inflation target agreement with the Government of Canada. Prior to joining the Bank of Canada in 2006, Dr. Kozicki was vice president and economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and, before that, an economist at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C.
