Ian Dew-Becker is a senior economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. His research focuses on macroeconomics and finance. His most recent work studies sources of asymmetry in business cycles and how that asymmetry affects financial markets. His research has appeared in top economics and finance journals. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University.
