About

Lisa Lunsford is the Chief Executive Officer of Global Strategic Supply Solutions (GS3 Global) a solutions-based metal-forming company where the intersection of manufacturing expertise and mobility is creating solutions that power mobility and the next generation of energy infrastructure. The company modifies, engineers and assembles aluminum and steel alloys for use in various industries, primarily automotive, petrochemical and alternative energy distribution and management applications.

Lunsford has over 30 years of experience in the mobility space. Prior to the founding of two successful companies, Lunsford began her career in mobility as a R&D engineer at Ford Motor Company Plastics Division (now known as Visteon). After ten years with Ford, Lunsford founded iThinc, a software development company that developed and deployed 3pl applications including solutions that integrated warehouse management with in-line vehicle sequencing legacy systems. After successfully launching iThinc, Lunsford went on to create GS3 Global in 2010.

Beginning in 2021 Lunsford created a partnership with an energy company specializing in renewable infrastructure construction and a major educational institution to design and develop solutions for a sustainable alternative energy economy. This comprehensive initiative marshals the resources of experienced construction professionals, cutting-edge academic research and leading manufacturing capabilities to create new methods of harnessing and distributing energy from renewable resources, including wind, solar, greywater reuse, and hydrogen.

In 2020, Lunsford was among 20 automotive tier one CEOs to establish the Automotive CEO Coalition for Change, a sub-group of the Center for Automotive Diversity and Inclusion Association (CADIA). In 2021, her contributions to the automotive industry over the last decade were recognized with the Automotive Women’s Alliance Foundation’s Individual Industry Achievement Award.

In 2021, GS3 Global was selected as one of 13 U.S. companies to pilot the Stellantis-National Black Business League Black Supplier Development Program, created to support the development of Black-owned businesses for future opportunities within the public and private sectors.
