Walker Ray is an economist in the economic research department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. His research focuses on the interactions of monetary policy, financial market segmentation, and information frictions. His work has been published in the Journal of Political Economy. Before joining the Chicago Fed, he was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the London School of Economics and a post-doc at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. He received a Ph.D. in economics from UC Berkeley.
