Midwest Manufacturing Output Remains Unchanged in June
The Chicago Fed Midwest Manufacturing Index (CFMMI) remained unchanged in June
2007, at a seasonally adjusted level of 104.9 (2002 = 100). Revised data show the index was
also unchanged in May. The Federal Reserve Board’s industrial production index for manufacturing
(IPMFG) was up 0.6% in June. Regional output in June was 0.2% lower than a
year earlier, below the 1.6% increase in national output.
