Elizabeth Kepner is a business economist in the economic research department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. She monitors regional economic conditions through District-wide roundtables, and contributes to and edits the Seventh District's Beige Book submission. She is a contributing author to the Bank's Chicago Fed Insights and Fed Letter series. She also contributes to the AgLetter – the Chicago Fed's quarterly agricultural publication.
Kepner has an M.A. in Public Policy from the University of Chicago's Harris School and a B.S. in Quantitative Economics & Econometrics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
